 Formby Prams was born in 1991 and spent the first 2 years of its life in a tiny shop unit no bigger than 20ft x 14ft. It soon grew however, and within 2 years had moved to a larger unit 4 times the size in Formby town centre, where they still are today, opposite Waitrose supermarket.
Winners of Nursery Retailer of the year 2002 and 2003 for the North and Scotland (British Association Of Nursery and Pram Retailers).
8 years on, the premises next door were aquired and an extension was built on at the front giving well over 2000 square feet of retail space.
The latest addition is an outlet on the Birkdale Trading Estate on Liverpool Road Birkdale, Southport...opposite the Tesco Express, with easy parking which will open in January 2009. Here apart from offering ends of lines and discontinued colours at very keen prices, you will be able purchase items from all the major brands including Silver Cross, Jane, Britax, Phil and Teds, Bugaboo, Maclaren, Maxi-Cosi, Bebe Confort, I Candy Bebecar etc, and many more besides.
